The magazine isn't on the design wall, but I'm so excited I had to share. I don't normally get really hung up on the fabric for a quilt in a magazine. This one though sent me over the edge. To the point that I had to immediately run to Fons & Porters website and order it. The kit came the other day. Once I get a few more things finished I will get started. Grace will have a new quilt for her bed that screams her name and the one thing she's obsessed with - horses.
Above is the design wall for this week. I finished the orange creation last night. It needed a border. Now I can check that off my list. The horse quilt top will be next. It's going to be big, which I don't really remember. After taking the orange quilt down, I put up 2 rows of the horse fabric, which ended up taking up 2/3 of the design wall.

The black blocks are something I had running around in my head. I knew if I didn't make some blocks it would drive me nuts. I love the colors. I've never done anything with just black, so I'm pleased with the way it's coming along.This week is going to busy again. I wish things would slow down a bit. Yikes.

The black does really add to those blocks. It will be a cool quilt when you are finished!
