Literally. No sewing yet this week for picking through the small child's hair. Rite of passage for the kid, rite of passage for me as a parent. Yuck Yuck Yuck.

Been there, as a kid. We had an outbreak at my high school when I was a freshman. The only thing that saved me from total social humiliation was the fact that half the class - including half of The Clique - was sent home. I even used the "nit picker" line! Hope things get back to normal quickly for you - as I remember, it wasn't too big a deal at the nit stage. A special shampoo took care of it for me.
